I re-organized my magazines and books and put them in locker baskets, they now sit on one of my prized pocessions, Stuart's mom's cedar chest. I am so lucky to have something like this to decorate with. If I am figuring right this cedar chest is almost 61 years old.
Just how many fat 1/4's do you think are in this shelf? So here's the contest. In honor of my Blog Anniversary that is coming up on the 9th of September, send me a comment on how you organize your fat's(if you are a quilter) and the number of fat 1/4's I have in my shelf. You don't have to be a quilter to participate, I want everyone that reads my blog help me celebrate such a big milestone for me. I didn't think I could keep this up for a year, but I have conquered! Tell all your blogging friends about my fun little contest(maybe post about it on your blog, if you do please include that in your comment). I would love to get lots to participate. Oh and don't forget to leave your e-mail address so I can contact you if your the winner. I will determine the winner on the 9th. You have a week to enter so get counting! Oh, by the way don't forget to look at the bundles in the top shelf. I think those are fat's too! I bet you already know what I've picked out for the prize. How did you know it would be a fat quarter bundle of something new we just got in at the Corn Wagon? I can't wait to hear from all of you. Happy Sewing, Shannon

i guess 156
ReplyDeleteWowsers! I am estimating 350. I thought about counting, but it is just too intimidating.
ReplyDeleteI don't quilt, mostly because I don't have the space or time. The closest I get is quilting play mats for baby showers. But I don't make blocks for those. One day I won't have any toddlers in my home and I will do real quilts.
Oh my goodness. I love the shelf. It is fun to have them on display like that . I don't have nearly that many but what I do have I just put in the plastic rolling drawers.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is 393.
Wow! I am taking a guess that there are 355 in there. There is a lot I know that. Looks great and the shelf is darling. I put the ones I have in a plastic bin, of course I can easily count what I have.
ReplyDeleteMu guess is 372. That shelf is awesome! I love it. I really don't have many fat quarters and so I just keep them in my sewing basket. I do want to quilt more though. See you Tuesday:)
ReplyDeleteCan I just come to your house when I need fabric. You look like you have a store there. It looks very organized and cute. My guess is 354!

ReplyDeleteIf leaving them in the bag counts as organizing then, that's how I do it. My guess is 180.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is 371. I just keep my fat quarters in the plastic rolling drawers. Not nearly as cute as your shelf.
ReplyDeletemy guess is 315
ReplyDeleteI am a frequent visitor of your lovely blog from the Netherlands. My guess is that there are 400 fat quarters on the shelfs.
