June's Bag!

Calling all bag ladies. It's almost the middle of June and it just hit me that I hadn't showed you the bag we are making on June 30th at the Corn Wagon. Isn't she a beaut. What a fun bag this was, it looks more difficult than it really is. Her name is Raspberry Ripple and she just happens to be a Melly & Me pattern. I made this one from the line Freebird from Moda, but she would be cute out of anything. I have one in the works from the French General line, Rural Jardine. The front and back of the bag are indentical.
Don't you just love the puffy pleats?

The lining pocket is a great option, it goes all the way across the width of the bag.
Stop in the Corn Wagon today, or tomorrow, or whenever to sign up for the class! But don't wait to long, because the 30th is coming way to fast. Slow down June!

  1. What a lovely bag again Shannon! The puffy pleats are so cute with those dots and I just love the big zipper inside! Hope you will be holding a bag class somewhere between the 26th and 28th of July!
(just kidding, you probably won't have classes during summer)

  2. Well you make it all look so "doable". I bet you are a great teacher. This bag is fantastic. I loved meeting you Shannon and having you in class. I've been to your blog before but I just bookmarked it in google reader. I need to add it to my front page.
