What the heck is Char doing? She thinks she needs her feet on two numbers for the game! Char is a very good customer and an ex employee of the shop. It was good to see her, she has moved to Australia for two years but gets to visit the states every 3 months and we are so glad the shop hop was while she was home for her first visit.
We had so much fun over the weekend, we even had the little ones rolloing on the floor. What a cutie!
Now look who popped into say hi on Saturday. It's none other than my dear, sweet husband Stuart(Claude Melvin). This was totally unexpected as was the day before. Now doesn't that make you laugh? It did me, and everyone else that was in the shop that day. What would I do without my "Melvin"? I mean Stuart.
And look who just happened to pop in about the same time as Stuart did. It's our daughter Kira and I don't know what she thought, only that her Dad was a bit crazy that day. Am I really married to this guy? Oh my gosh, I can't quit laughing as I am writing this blog. You should meet my handsome sometime. I promise to make him mind his manners when your around!
More family(customers) we hadn't seen for quite sometime. It seems Verna was the welcoming committee all by her lomesome and she did a mighty fine job at it. What a hoot she is!
And look Grandma Gert(Kristen) is modeling another new dress. My she's a fancy dresser and that figure, how does she do it? I am dying to tell you her secret but I made a promise I wouldn't tell everyone. She likes "yarn" though!
Here are the card wallets that I made to sell during the shop hop. Here's a little contest for all that are reading this. If you can guess how many of these little babies I made you could be the winner of one yourself. Leave your guess in with your comment. I will give it a week from today and then I will pick not one but two winners. Everyone that has one of these just loves it, I think you would too! Some of these had already sold before I took the picture so there were more. Good luck and thanks for laughing along with me as I shared our experiences of our first Corn Wagon Family reunion.

ReplyDeleteHai Shannon, Yvonne tipped me about the card wallets you made. They look really lovely. All that beautifull colors. I guess you made 62 pieces of it. That's my age and I feel that's the right number. If I'am not a winner Yvonne tries to get the pattern. I love to follow your blog.
