The pattern even included the fabric addict button.
Also in the package was this cute pin, I don't remember ordering it though. So maybe it's something they send out with their orders or maybe a little gift for being shipped so late.
She certainly is a Quilting Diva! Is this what I really look like when I go to quilt retreats? Sadly so! Machine and fabric in hand!
Now look at this mess. Can you even tell what it is? If you guessed patterns, you are right. What a joke! I needed a better way to store my patterns so I could find the one I was looking for. Who really has this many patterns anyway? There are so many favorites I didn't just want to get rid of them all. They've been mushed up in this basket so long they couldn't even breath. So when I was shopping around at market I ran onto this awesome thing.
It's called the Clip it up! I couldn't wait to get me one. They have several different kinds of solutions to get your sewing messes like mine organized. It showed up the day after I got home. Now that is what I call service. What a shame to say it has been sitting in my sewing room still in the box until about 2 weeks ago. That's called procrastination!
Now this is what my patterns look like. They are hanging in order. I have all the different quilt patterns seperated out, from fat quarter quilts, layer cake quilts, charms, etc. I still have room to hang more. My bag patterns are still in the basket but organized by pattern companys. I need to get me another one just for bags. I bet I have just about the same amount of bag patterns as I do quilts. What's wrong with me? My girl's make fun of me. They're telling me all the time that the only thing I know how to read is patterns. They are right, I take patterns just to read while I am traveling or just relaxing. I never pull out a book unless it has to do with sewing! Is anyone else like me? Now when I want to read my patterns, they are right at my fingertips!
Happy Sewing!
I have the idea your sewing room (what was the alternative name Stuart gave it.... something with ...hole??) looks like a little Corn Wagon! The pattern of the doll is cute too. It may be fun the do in between bags hihihi!
