This year Corn Wagon Quilts and employee's were the featured quilter's. Can we hear a big shout out for the Corn Wagon girl's!
Every employee was required to submit some quilts. This year our very own Suzanne took second place with her Grandmother's Kitchen Applique Quilt. This is one we just finished using at the shop for our annual shop hop. This is our newest employee Chris and one of her many entries. She is one very talented girl. We are lucky to have her and it didn't take us long to break her in. She's just as crazy as the rest of us. She just happened to be at the show the same time I was.
My entries this year were: The Jelly Roll 1600
My springtime quilt.
Tea Party
And my Master Suite quilt.
This cute, cute quilt belongs to my daughter, Kira. It is made out of Urban Cowgirl and the pattern is Swoon from Thimble Blossoms. Didn't she do a great job on it?Lots of pretty quilts to look at this year. Sorry I didn't get more picture's, especially the 1st place winner. It was just to darn hot to stand and take pictures. But notice I did get the most important ones right!
Oh....How I wish I could have been there. So many sweet memories! What a cute quilt Kira made, love the colors. Just as your Tea Party quilt! Love the fabrics you used! It seems you have a real talented new employee at the shop!
