Stay with me!
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you don't think I have forgotten about my blog. I have so much to share with you, lot's of things have been happening around here. So just stay with me, it's going to be a blogging weekend, for me at least!
Hi Shannon, I have seen you on the blog of Yvonne's. So I have seen how busy you have been. Too bad that Utah is so far away, but ever considered about giving a bag course in The Netherlands?? Wouldn't that be a great idea! Than you can meet all of us. Not that we have great scenery, or big cars. But we do have beautiful towns, lovely people in it. We have the polders and Yvonne!! Stroopwafels and drop. I would say that we have a deal. Will be looking forward to your blog about the last couple of weeks. Enjoy your weekend.
My hands are always busy, this has led to many crafty endevers, interior design, paper crafting, or sewing, but my favorite obsession is quilting and making bags. You can just call me an "Old Bag"! My husband, Stuart and I are empty nesters who like to travel in our 5th wheel trailer and spoil our three kids, two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law and five darling grandkids. (if there's any money leftover from buying fabric!)
I work at Corn Wagon Quilts in Springville, Utah. The perfect job for me. I teach quilt and bag classes for the Corn Wagon and Dave's Bernina in Provo and St. George, Utah. It's a good thing we don't have to live off what money I make, 'cause you know it has to buy fabric! Glad you stopped by, pull up a chair, a diet coke, chocolate and lets get accquainted.
"The desire tocreate is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish tocreate something that did not exist before .... creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. We develop ourselves and others when we take unorganized matter into our hands and mold it into something of beauty ..."

This is my husband Stuart. This is who I share my nest with. He likes the outdoors, hunting, guns, and ME! He is a wonderful cook (am I lucky or what?) He is a fun, kind and loving father and grandpa. I'm so blessed to have in my life.
