Odds & Ends!

Bear with me as I throw in some older posts among-est some of my current events. I ran onto some photo's and realized I hadn't blogged about them yet. I want to make sure they get done because this for me, this is my journal. Back in March we got a special invite to my brother, Lane's home to commemorate what would be my Dad's 85th birthday. It's been quite some time that we have all been together and what a great occasion to do so. This is a little vignette Lane and Annette put together to honor our special dad. As you can see my Dad was a farmer, cattlemen and cotton seed broker. In earlier years he also worked for Geneva Steele. He always made sure we were taken care of. And he loved Mom so much, they liked to travel and spend time together in the house in St. George. And he always made sure she had money in her wallet, for shopping with her girl's! He will always be one of my role models.
My brother in laws Randy and Richard with Stuart in the middle. Chatting up man stuff I guess. Annette said that the dinner wasn't going to be fancy at all, but look at the table. I think that's as fancy as it gets. She pulled out the china for this one.
Collette and Tamara, my two older sister. Randy and Collette had come from Cedar City just for the party. We don't get to see them much, you would think they live clear across the country!
This is the master chef himself, my brother Lane. He really likes to use his grill outside. He prepared for us a very tasty pork tenderloin with all the trimmings.
This is my brother Blake and his wife Deb. They live in Eagle Mountain and you would think they also live clear across the country. It was good seeing them too.
I am so grateful for my loving brothers and sisters and for all the love and support they are to me. I don't think I have ever blogged about them all at the same time. It sure was fun getting together and catching up on everyone's kids and grand kids. My Mom and Dad would be proud of all the new family members added since their passing's. Happy Birthday Dad, I know you were there celebrating to.
As couples: Jan(sister) and Channing, Tamara(sister) and Richard, Deb and Blake(brother), Collette(sister) and Randy, Annette and Lane(brother) and Myself and Stuart.

You are so lucky to have such a big family! For us it was fun to meet Tamara and Richard and Colette and Randy. Nice to 'meet' the rest of the Thomas bunch through your blog!
