A new batch of . . .

Aprons!I've been working on a few more aprons for people, take a peep at the different ones I've been working on. The top is a spare one I have on hand.

This pattern was a new one I couldn't wait to try. Tamara called and asked me if I wouldn't mind making her an apron for a friend for her birthday. I thought this pattern was a good one for Kathy. If you can, click on it to check out the details, the gathered strip across the top was a fun option on the pattern, then I made bias tape to accent the scalloped edge. I'll be making more of this apron.

I love the fabric this apron is made of, the chickens and the polka dots go together so cute to give it the retro look. This one went to a good friend of ours, Bonnie for her birthday. Her kitchen in her new home is decorated in the theme of chickens, so when I ran onto this I thought of her.

And the last apron is the one I made for Diana in the Hot Drinks for Hot Mama's apron swap. We had to incorporate the theme into our apron. She specified she liked hot cocoa and I couldn't find just the right fabric, so I ended up appliqueing the mug of hot cocoa on the front. Her favorite color is orange. I then included a homemade hot pad, mug and some packages of Steven's hot cocoa made right here in Utah. I also included a package of Mamba's candy for one hot mama! I hope she liked it. I don't make to many half aprons, but I think this one turned out ok.

I love your aprons, you do really GREAT work! I just bought my first apron pattern, it is very simple, which is good cause I'm not that great at sewing yet! I will give it a try though!

I love the first one! I really don't have the patience for sewing anything other than straight lines.

Beautiful! I am so amazed at your talents and your time you spend serving others. I think it is great that your sisters ask you to help in that way. You must have a really great relationship. That is so neat!!

Do you have any extra aprons on hand? Do you make them for others? I am interested in giving some away for christmas gifts. Do you have any fun saying or poems to go with them? I have some flight attendant friends who would love them. We wear aprons on the airplane and holiday aprons or just fun ones would be great. Let me know and if I can buy some from you. call me. You are to talented and creative.
