New projects!

Here is a sampling of the projects I worked on while I was in St. Geroge. I just love it when I have a productive weekend even while playing and chit chatting with my sisters. This is my Liliana Christmas quilt from Crazy Old Ladies. I demonstrated on this one in my class down there. I made it from Fruitcake from Basic Grey. Oh, and the Christmas ornaments are a Corn Wagon exclusive. Thanks to Emily for making this possible.
And this is my Spooky Treats Halloween quilt. It's made from the Riley Blake fabric line called Boo To You. I made this several years ago and I felt it needed a few changes so I did my pockets out of all the same fabric and I added the outside border. Then before I bound it I added the ric rac. Isn't it a cutie. My grandkids love it when it's time to pull out the treat quilt as its called. They really have fun picking treats from the pockets. The 3-D ghosts are made from men's handkerchiefs appliqued down to the blocks after it is quilted.
I know it's kind of early to be announcing this, but I will be teaching this a couple of times this fall. I will be teaching this at the Corn Wagon in September and in October at Dave's Bernina at their Provo store. I would love to have you in one of my classes. I have 12 kits of this quilt all put together and ready to go. Contact me if you want to reserve one for the class.
And this is the bag I was experimenting on. I was asked to come up with a mystery bag for a retreat I will be teaching at in about 3 weeks. After I got it done I just didn't think it was that great. Scratch this one of the list of possibilities. I have come up with something much better. I hope they all like it.
Thanks for letting me show you my newest projects I have been working on. You know me, there is always something in the works. And I appreciate you all for letting me share them with you when they are finished. Happy Sewing, Shannon
P.S. Don't forget to tell everyone about the give away that's going on here at my blog.

Hi Shannon,
I tried to respond to your comment but it bounced back. I am glad to be back to normal. Stitching and blogging.
